I will always use this hotel when in Darmstadt.

Welcome hotel will always be my choice when in Darmstadt. The location is great- within walking distance to shopping and restaurants. The breakfasts are great and the availability of an in house restaurant is convenient for dinners or drinks. The rooms are adequate and clean and the front desk is always responsive. A parking garage beneath the hotel is easy if you have leased a car. The next time I visit I would like a coffee maker in the room and a walk in shower. The tub wasn’t easy to climb in and out of for a senior!

Perfect hotel and location

The hotel is exceptionally good. The location is top, the staff is friendly and helpful. The communication is fast. It is a very children friendly place. Everything is clean, modern and very well done. BUT the minus is hidden in design of the rooms: the door opening to the toilet is done wrong, it opens inside, and hits the person who is sitting on a toilet. Also you can not totally open the door, it is blocked by the toilet. I find this feature unacceptable for a four stars hotel...
