Nice, Friendly, well organised, clean
Im Zimmer war es relativ kühl. Super lecker und groß Portionen auch der Preis ist ok Sehr gut und auch gut zu erreichen.
Very well kept and picturesque historic hotel offering excellent accommodation, food and service.
As per our overall rating we were very pleased with our hotel experience at the Residenzschloss. Really appreciated the historic property which was well maintained. We had a suite that was just awesome. One suggestion would be to have a kleenex holder in the living area and maybe even the bedroom. The staff was very courteous and helpful. We were there with our son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter. During dinner over a couple of nights the staff was very good helping us with our fussy granddaughter (only 1 year old). It made the eating experience better for us and the other customers. Now our son’s room didn’t have a small fridge that would have allowed them to store some of the baby’s food. Since we had a suite we were able to put it in our fridge. It was appreciated that the staff could communicate in English as we are from C.. The breakfast was excellent and the dinners were good as well just a bit limited on selection options. Really appreciated the well kept historic decor. Very pleasant to sit outside on the patio. It was early April so the weather warm but not real hot. Do you offer umbrellas during the warmer summertime as it would be worth considering if not. The food was very good and my only observation was a limited dinner menu selection. Now I was quite satisfied with what I ordered. The veal cheek was very good. Well kept and staffed by courteous staff. We were able to walk to see some of the local sights, shop and have a drink or bite to eat. Can’t say enough about how courteous and helpful the staff was throughout the hotel. Had a suite and it was very roomy and comfortable. Plenty of furniture that made having guests enjoyable.
The hotel is excellent for business travel as well as for families visiting Darmstadt. Great location, friendly staff, very clean and cozy. I warmly recommend this hotel.
Front facing room. Tends to be a bit noisy so couldn't open windows. Excellent breakfast menu.
Finally all elevators are working again.
I stayed two weeks at this hotel for a business trip in February. The location is excellent - right across the street from the elevators to the old town and next to a food court. The people were very nice and the free breakfast was good although repetitive. Cons are it had no gym, which is really important when on a long business trip. There was only one comforter on the bed - no sheets- and at first it was too hot under the blanket and too cold outside of it. I solved the problem by turning off the radiator and opening the window a few times. Finally, I realized I could remove the cover off the comforter and use it as a blanket. There was no tea or coffee in the room until I asked at the desk where I could get some, then they sent up an electric kettle and some teabags and powdered coffee. The bags were never replaced after I had used them. Likewise, I emptied a lotion bottle and had to ask at the front desk for more. I'm not sure how this was rated a 4 star hotel. 3 would be more apt considering the lack of a gym. There was a gym nearby (EuroFit) I could use for 14euro/day or 50 euro/month, however they only took German bankcards. Luckily, one of the employees at the gym was nice enough to pay for my membership with her bankcard and I gave her cash in return.
super hotel alles gut
I always stay on this hotel when I am in a Paderborn. I am absolutely with it
POOR INTERNET CONNECTION. No electrical sockets near the sofa. But there were minimum 6 in the kitchen area
