Experience the Middle Ages

In the center of the Eifel you can travel back in time to the Middle Ages. The first documents that mention Satzvey Castle date back to the year 1396. It is believed, however, that the foundation walls of the castle house are much older. The property has been in the Count Beissel von Gymnich family for more than 300 years. The family' love and passion for this 14th century castle is visible in their generational care and maintenance of this historic treasure. Satzvey Castle is reknown far beyond the borders of the country and ensures a very special experience with as history becomes alive. Let yourself be carried away into a long lost time and explore the stories and legends of the Middle Ages.
