The Dino Zoo in Metelen is located in the middle of the forests of the Metelener Heide in the Münsterland. The zoo is a combination of dinosaurs and live animals and also offers playgrounds to run around. For the young scientists there are fossil dinosaur bones to dig free.

A beautiful bathing bay with a sandy beach, sunbathing area and water play channel. The bay is connected to the peat bog lake. Including a 2.5 km long circular hiking trail, forest nature trail and a geological nature trail with 23 rocks. There are public toilets and the "Büdchen am See" in the lake operations building.
