Guests of several hotel groups are currently receiving fraudulent messages via WhatsApp and email. Some Welcome Hotels guests may also have been affected. The guests identified so far have already been contacted directly.
We are investigating the incident together with our technical partners and external specialists. The investigation is still ongoing. At this stage, we cannot garantee that additional guests may be affected.
Please remain vigilant. Fraudsters may pretend to be hotel employees or representatives of booking platforms. They may ask you to click on external links, make payments, or provide credit card details.
Welcome Hotels will never ask you to share sensitive payment information via WhatsApp or email links.
If further affected guests are identified, we will contact them immediately.
