Mulled wine with pomegranate and rosemary

A classic winter favorite reinterpreted: Fruity cranberry notes and a hint of rosemary give this mulled wine a sophisticated aroma that is perfect for cozy evenings.

Ingredients for 4 people:

  • 750 ml dry red wine
  • 200 ml cranberry juice
  • 50 ml orange liqueur (e.g. Cointreau)
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 sprigs of fresh rosemary
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 4 star anise
  • cranberries

Preparation:

  1. Place the red wine, cranberry juice, sugar, cinnamon, star anise and a sprig of rosemary in a pan.
  2. Heat the mixture slowly without bringing it to the boil and leave to infuse for 10 minutes.
  3. Add the orange liqueur and stir briefly.
  4. Serve the mulled wine in glasses, garnished with cranberries and a sprig of fresh rosemary.

Speculoos cheesecake bites

A heavenly combination of creamy cheesecake and spicy speculoos: these bites are a delight that will enchant any Christmas table and are ideal as a small dessert or gift.

Ingredients for approx. 12 pieces:

  • 150 g speculoos (crumbled)
  • 50 g butter (melted)
  • 200 g cream cheese
  • 100 g quark
  • 50 g powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 100 g dark chocolate (for decorating)

Preparation:

  1. Mix the crumbled speculoos with the melted butter and press the mixture into small silicone molds or muffin tins as a base.
  2. Mix the cream cheese, quark, powdered sugar, cinnamon and vanilla extract to a smooth cream and pour onto the bases.
  3. Leave the bites to set in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
  4. After removing from the molds, dip the top of the bites in melted dark chocolate and leave to set.

Serve chilled and enjoy!

Baked apple tiramisu in a glass

A festive dessert with a touch of nostalgia: warm baked apple meets the creaminess of mascarpone and the sweetness of caramel. Perfect for special moments during the Christmas season.

Ingredients for 4 people:

  • 4 small apples (e.g. Boskoop)
  • 150 g mascarpone
  • 150 g natural yoghurt
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 100 g ladyfingers
  • 100 ml apple juice
  • 50 g caramel sauce
  • 1 handful of walnuts (chopped)

Preparation:

  1. Bake the cored apples at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for about 20 minutes until they are soft. Then cut into small pieces.
  2. Mix the mascarpone, yogurt, honey and cinnamon to make a cream.
  3. Crumble the ladyfingers and place a layer in glasses. Soak them lightly with apple juice.
  4. Alternate layers of cream, baked apple pieces and ladyfingers in the glasses. Finally, top with caramel sauce and chopped walnuts.
  5. Chill for an hour and then enjoy.
