Frankfurt has so much to offer including such well-known historic sights as the Römer, St Paul's church and the imperial cathedral and a lively cultural scene: over a hundred times a week in 20 or so theatres across the city the curtain rises on concerts, operas or performances of dance, variety or cabaret. Whilst the Museum Riverbank stages some fabulous exhibitions if shopping is what you want then it is best to head for Goethestraße or the My Zeil shopping centre.
