WELCOME expands presence in Meißen city centre The WELCOME Hotel Group has welcomed two new management operated hotels into the portfolio. The HOTEL GOLDENER LÖWE joined the group on 1st December 2010 and the HOTEL UND CAFÉ AM MARKT RESIDENZ on 1st January 2011. Both will continue to operate under their established names. The "Goldener Löwe“ hotel has 36 elegantly furnished rooms whereas the Café-Hotel "Am Markt Residenz“ has 26 comfortably furnished rooms. Both hotels enjoy central locations in the historic part of the city. 
By assuming management of these two hotels that are now in the capable hands of Jana Otto, previously of the WELCOME PARKHOTEL MEISSEN, Welcome Hotels has strengthened its presence in Meissen. “Business is good in Meissen and we firmly believe in the future potential the city has to offer“, says CEO Mario Pick. With these two new acquisitions the Sauerland based hotel group has increased its presence to three. Welcome entered the Meissen market in 2007 with the WELCOME PARKHOTEL MEISSEN. “These are two fantastic additions to our portfolio.
