Multifunctionality in Perfection

Some 18.000 m2 of space provide a wealth of ways in which to combine and configure the variable rooms to best suit the event being staged. Multifunctionality is one of the darmstadtium science and congress centre’s greatest strengths.

• The "Spectrum" congress room can be subdivided into two or even three separate rooms.
• Hydraulic seating and rostra enable a speedy installation or alteration of the room/rooms to create a theatre style auditorium (e. g. for congresses and concerts) or an entire flat space (e. g. for galas or exhibitions). 
• The stage size in the congress room is also variable.
• Surrounding foyer space can also be used in a variety of ways e.g. for accompanying exhibitions etc.
• A roller shutter provides an expansive entrance to the congress room and foyer.
• The 18 conference rooms can be combined in a variety of ways.
• The rooms are all equipped to a consistently high standard with state-of-the-art multi-media technology: this applies equally to the facilities for presentation and demonstration as well as to the facilities for tours relating to the event. In addition to multi-media signposting in the foyers and information screens in the "Spectrum" room itself every conference rooms is equipped with a smart door plate.
