2011 à la carte - WELCOME HOTELS introduces a new customer card

A WELCOME innovation endorsed by renowned hotel and restaurant critic Heinz Horrmann.

From the start of 2011 there is yet a further reason for WELCOME HOTELS’ guests to smile: the Warstein based hotel group has launched its brand new loyalty scheme with the professional endorsement of none other the one of the best known hotel sector advocates, and grand seigneur of the hotel industry: Heinz Horrmann.

The principle is amazingly simple and wonderfully customer friendly: the WELCOME HOTELS Travel Card enables guests to collect bonus points over night that can be redeemed immediately. Basically, every Euro spent earns 10 points on your card. The number of points relates to the amount spent by the card holder at the WELCOME HOTELS in question. Even dining at a WELCOME HOTELS’ restaurant earns points, too.

These can then be redeemed against overnight stays or a range of merchandising articles such as a WELCOME bath robe. Alternatively points can be redeemed against such memorable activities as a hot air balloon trip at the Warstein International Montgolfiade including VIP tickets.

"Our WELCOME HOTELS’ Travel Card aims to expand the services we offer our guests whilst thanking them for the loyalty at the same time. We want to do everything we can to make our guests feel welcome every time they visit us“, explains managing director Carsten Kritz. Mario Pick joint managing director adds: "The WELCOME HOTELS Travel Card is a customer loyalty programme and we have many loyal guests who will benefit greatly from the card. A wide range of attractive redeemable gifts should also encourage new guests to come and stay in one of our hotels.“

Our card that is about the size of a credit card can be issued in any WELCOME hotel. Any guest racking up 30,000 points is automatically upgraded to VIP status for an entire year which will entitle him or her to fresh fruit and a bottle of mineral water in the room on arrival and a free room upgrade whenever possible.
